Now that the dust has settled from the big move it's time to share that I have accepted a position teaching voice at Lawrence University in Appleton as well as the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I very much appreciate all of the support that my students in Madison have shown during this transition. Change is hard! What we do in voice lessons is often so personal and the relationship between teacher and students can take a lot of trust to build. I never take that trust for granted and I honor the time that we've had to work together.
I am really looking forward to the new adventures in the Fox Cities teaching at two wonderful Universities. This time in the Fall is always so exciting. I love all of the energy and anticipation of what this new academic year will bring. It's one of the reasons I wanted to be a teacher so that I could be a perpetual student! With any new position comes many opportunities to learn and I am eager to grow with the students I'll have the honor to guide this year.
If you're interested in lessons in the Fox Cities please be in touch! My primary positions will be at the Universities, but I could accommodate a few private students as well. My Icelandic research is still ongoing as well! Be on the lookout for more on that soon!
