ICELANDIC RESEARCH
Currently Dr. Cayla Rosché is transcribes Icelandic Song Repertoire text into the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) which will allow non- native Icelandic speakers perform this repertoire. See list below for available transcriptions to purchase. She is also working on translating the poetry into English to aid singers in making musical choices based on the text.

Cayla is currently working on publishing the phonetic transcription and translations of songs by Icelandic composer Jón Leifs. In the Spring of 2020 she published her dissertation on the music of Jón Leifs titled Cultural Empathy Through Music in Iceland as well as a lecture recital titled Icelandic Art Song by Jón Leifs.
